Founded as a limited company in 2006, Oakford Technology provides products and services including IT support, telecoms, audio visual equipment and security solutions. Based in the heart of Wiltshire, Oakford began as a leading IT support provider for schools in the surrounding counties and a popular choice for remote IT support from other areas of the UK, driven almost entirely by customer recommendations. More than 10 years on, Oakford have grown to a successful larger company capable of supporting the education and business sectors.

In addition to IT support Oakford is a trusted provider of IT equipment and solutions, such as wireless networks for mass use, secure remote access and robust infrastructure solutions.

Experienced & Trained Engineers
All of our engineers are Microsoft certified and bring relevant experience from both commercial and educational institutions.
A regular enhanced DBS check is also carried out on all staff.

Support of Curriculum & Admin Networks
In addition to providing great support for the curriculum network, Oakford is also able to support the admin network.
Oakford can carry out SIMS/FMS upgrades and SQL migrations and provide support for the admin computer hardware at a very low rate, saving schools a small fortune.

Flexibility
Our support contracts are designed to be as flexible as possible. Simply call forward hours from your support contract during busier periods e.g. new software installation. Alternatively hold back hours during quieter times.

As part of our IT support program we will work with you to develop ICT throughout the school, combining the school’s ideas with our experience in other schools we can help you achieve your goals and targets e.g. Data Protection and also reduce ICT spending by implementing strategic development plans using experience from other schools.

Our initial contract provided us with fortnightly consultancy visits, and we have since added to this so that we now have an onsite Oakford technician alongside our own staff every day during term time.
